Dover, Del. (Feb. 15, 2013) --- Delaware State University's Ryan Carter has advanced to the final in the 400-meter dash at the 2013 MEAC Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Prince George's County Sports & Learning Complex today.  Carter ran the fifth best qualifying time of 49.69 seconds.  DSU's Stephen Bowe also qualified for the 400-meter championship race with the sixth-best qualifying time (49.82).

Carter has also reached the final in the 200-meter dash. He qualified for the championship race with a time of 24.93 seconds in the preliminaries.  

The 200 & 400-meter championship races are scheduled for Saturday.
