10. Matt Lopez (Good Counsel)
Matt Lopez has really stepped up this fall to take over the #2 runner position from teammate Kevin McGivern (a returning sub 16 minute 5K runner) for the Good Counsel boys in their first races of the season with top 5 individual finishes at both the Chancellor Invitational and last week at the Howard County Invite in a 16:28 PR. Its been a while since Lopez and Good Counsel have run at Oatlands. Back in 2012 as a freshmen, Lopez ran a time of 18:54. He should see himself running well over 2 minutes faster than that time tomorrow returning to the same course for his senior year.
