Meet Recap: Mountain Ridge's Molly Offstein repeated as the Allegany County champion comfortably by nearly a minute in a half with her time of 21:08 this past Thursday on the Allegany College cross country course. Offstein also led her team to the county title as well as they tallied a low team score of 27 points.
The boys race had an individual winner help lead his team to victory with Bishop Walsh junior William Fritz able to distance himself from Allegany sophomore Ben Fiscus for a 17:42 clocking for first place. The Bishop Walsh boys (38 pts) narrowly edged out Fort Hill (40 pts) for the team title by two points.
