No. 15: Thomas S. Wootton High School
A few injuries hampered what could have been a very good season for the Wootton girls in 2015 but after losing just one of their top five runners last season they have a chance to come back even stronger this year. Last season a trio of impressive freshman girls came into the program: Madeline Grainger (34th at the state championships), Adna Trakic (20:05.20 personal best last year) and Jessica Trzeciak (5:32.60 1600 in the spring). If all three of them remain healthy, they have the potential to be one of the best top trios in Montgomery County for the next three years. Two more rising seniors with 5K personal bests under 21 minutes give Wootton the depth to make a huge leap forward from last year when they didn't qualify as a team for the state championships, to a possible top ten finish at this year's race.
