Vote below for Maryland's Week #4 Boys XC Runner of the Week from the September 24th weekend of meets. This week's batch of nominees includes McDonogh's Dalton Hengst, Landon's Wesley Feldman, Westlake's Jay Hall, Walt Whitman's Aaron Bratt, Liberty's Nick Tilson and Bel Air's Kieran McDermott.

This past weekend's DCXC Invitational turned out some of the fastest times in the state this season. Whitman sophomore Aaron Bratt was one of a few Maryland winners at the grade-style meet, clocking a personal best of 15:37.00 to narrowly hold off Wootton's John Riker. But it was Westlake's Jay Hall who turned in the top Maryland performance of the day, finishing second in the junior race with a MD #1 time of 15:26.00.

A week after winning the Barnhart Invitational in his 2016 debut, McDonogh's Dalton Hengst was back in action this past weekend at the Carlisle Invitational in Pennsylvania. He finished seventh in the loaded field, also running 15:37.00. Back in the state of Maryland, last week's runner-up at the Barnhart Invitational, Kieran McDermott, won the morning session of the Spiked Shoe Invitational with a new personal best of 15:44.70.

There were plenty of other winning performances at smaller meets around the state on Saturday. In Carroll County, Liberty's Nick Tilson led his team to yet another team win at the Westminster Invitational, falling just short of his 16:06.00 personal best. Landon's Wesley Feldman also led his team to a win on their home course at the Landon Invitational, clocking an impressive 17:15.00 on their difficult home course.

Voting closes at 10 PM on Thursday! Voting is unlimited and feel free to share with your coaches, family, friends, teammates, teachers, and more!
