Vote below for Maryland's Week #5 Girls XC Runner of the Week from the October 1st week of meets. This week's batch of nominees includes Churchill's Julia Reicin, Poolesville's Nandini Satsangi, Catoctin's Julien Webster, Gov. Thomas Johnson's Abigail Pinto and Stone Ridge's Genevieve DiBari.

Stone Ridge junior Genevieve DiBari didn't let the wet conditions at the Salesianum (DE) Invitational slow her down this past Saturday. She picked up her first major invitational victory in the small school division, clocking an impressive time of 20:16.30 on the slow course. Elsewhere in out-of-state action, Churchill's Julia Reicin clocked an 18:39 5K at the Paul Short (PA) Run - a personal best aside from this year's DCXC Invitational.

Back in the state of Maryland, Poolesville sophomore Nandini Satsangi ran away from Howard's Courtney Mann and the rest of the field at the Urbana Invitational. For Satsangi it was also her first major cross country win in her young career, and probably not her last. Catoctin's Julien Webster cruised to a win at the Mountain Run Invitational on Wednesday, helping her Cougars take down the Boonsboro girls by a single point. The runner-up, Thomas Johnson's Abigail Pinto, also finished third and was the top Maryland finisher at the Don Stoner Invitational on Saturday.

Voting closes at 10 PM on Thursday! Voting is unlimited and feel free to share with your coaches, family, friends, teammates, teachers, and more!
