Douglass-PG's Seasons Usual came within a foot of the 2A record when she won the state championship last February. An outstanding thower, she finished fifth in the Championship Discus at last year's New Balance Nationals, and she returns with the best mark across all classifications in Maryland. Right behind her is Lackey's Courtney Hawkins with the second-best returning mark in the state. Both girls should go head-to-head for the state title again this year and challenge the 42'7.75 record.
