Owumi and his teammate Raynard Bell emerged as one of the top sprinting duos in the state last spring. It was a breakout for Owumi who went from season bests of 7.84 (55) and 38.75 (300) in the winter to 10.96 (100) and 22.37 (200). Owumi and Bell - both seniors this year - will enter the 2017 indoor season as one of the top returning sprint duos in Maryland and will be looking to blow away their 2016 indoor season best times.
