Will Merritt (Smithsburg)
The six-time 1A state champion and 2016 Foot Locker National Cross Country qualifier missed almost the entire 2016-17 indoor season due to injury, save for a couple 55-meter dashes. If he can return to form in the spring then he would have a good chance to add to that collection of state titles.
