The Millrose Games is one of the top indoor meets in the entire country, and on Saturday Maryland flashed some of its national-class talent. McDonogh junior Dalton Hengst has already clocked some fast miles in his young career, but he broke a huge barrier on Saturday, dipping under 4:10 for the first time. He finished third in 4:08.99. It is the fastest mile by a Maryland runner, indoor or outdoor, since some guy named Matthew Centrowitz ran 4:03 in 2009.

William Henderson's spectacular all-around season continued on Saturday, as he set a Millrose Games meet record in the 55 dash at 6.31 seconds. The mark ties his personal best (he also ran 6.31 at the Hispanic Games) and keeps him tied atop the US rankings in the event.

The Bullis boys have shuffled in and out of the US #1 spot in the 4x200 this season, but they reclaimed that title on Saturday by dropping a blazing 1:27.17 - the fastest by nearly four tenths of a second. It is the fastest Maryland time recorded in MileSplit's database dating back to 2000.

The Bullis girls weren't to be left out of the fun, either. They won the 4x200 in a season-best time of 1:37.30, lowering their US #2 mark and just missing Western Branch's US #1 time of 1:37.09. It is also the fastest Maryland time recorded in the MileSplit database. Meanwhile, the Elizabeth Seton girls finished second and cracked the 1:40 mark for the first time on the season (1:39.98). Seton's Lauren Morgan also clocked the fastest time by a Maryland runner in the 55 dash at 7.12.

Hayley Jackson led for the first half of a crazy girls mile that saw multiple girls fall in the middle, coming through 809 meters at 2:25. She would finish fifth at 4:55.75, which, when converted to the 1600, is just off her personal best of 4:52.32. Jackson will eye the 4:50 mark throughout the rest of her senior season, something that no Maryland runner has done since Ellie Gonzalez in 2014.
