2016 Winner: Kyra Badrian (Paint Branch) 2:17.06
Badrian came on strong at the end of last spring, sweeping the county, regional and state meets in convincing fashion. However, she focused more on the 500 this winter which opened the door for other girls to put their names in the spotlights. Blair's Morgan Casey and Badrian's teammate Yasmine Kass both went under 2:20 while Churchill's Gwenyth Asbury took home the state title in February. This spring is shaping up to be a very good one for the 800 in 4A.
