GREENSBORO, NC. - Blacksburg's football star is now officially a national track star. The Bruin junior blasted out of the blocks and closed strong to finish a close national runner-up in the 100m dash Saturday at New Balance Outdoor Nationals.
His wind-legal time of 10.41 equals his season best from states and currently ranks him 7th all-time for the state of Virginia. Cole is not only fast, he is also a great multi-sport star who basically carried his Blacksburg team to the 3A state football championship this fall. He has yet to make a decision for college but intends on playing multiple sports.
