We kick off our 2017 preseason cross country top ten rankings with the 4A girls. Last year's state runner-up, Abigail Green, enters the fall as the overwhelming favorite to grab the third state title of her high school career. Annapolis' Anna Coffin and Severna Park's Kamryn Eveleth both finished in the top five last year as sophomores and could give a preview of the 2018 4A state championships. Overall, three Walter Johnson girls make the top ten list, making them strong candidates to grab their fifth straight state trophy.
