Top runners who did not compete

Dave Ozarowski (Archbishop Curley) - 15:53 5K, fifth at MIAA Championships

Hannah Mansbach (Glenelg Country) - 19:42 5K, IAAM C conference champion

Jessica Harris (Mount de Sales) - 20:00 5K, IAAM B conference champion

Summer Legambi (Notre Dame Prep) - 20:07 5K, sixth at IAAM Championships

Charlotte Leape (Washington International) - 20:21 5K, PVAC champion

Most of the top runners in the area competed on the boys side, and five of the top six finishers in the large school division were seniors (broken up by only Loyola-Blakefield freshman Michael Wegner). Although Archbishop Curley competed as a team senior Dave Ozarowski, one of the top runners from the MIAA, did not.

Many of the top finishers from the IAAM Championships were not present, including both the B and C conference champions. Hannah Mansbach and Jessica Harris had finished third and fourth at the IAAM Championships, respectively, and Mansbach would have been a contender for the small school title (although homeschooled runner Meghan Lockett turned in an impressive 19:16 performance in the small school division). Meanwhile Charlotte Leape went undefeated in two seasons at Washington International, winning the PVAC title as a sophomore in 2011.
