SALISBURY -- Leading up to this weekend's National Championship meet, Salisbury University junior Chelsea Tavik has been both confident and consistent with her throws, creating a dangerous combination for her opponents to fear. Tavik, who captured the national title during the indoor track and field season, along with 21 other throwers will compete later today for the Division III National Championship in the shot put competition which will be held in Claremont, Calif., on the campus of Claremont McKenna-Harvey Mudd-Scripps Colleges.
