Liberty's Daniel Saxon will attempt to win on his home course on Tuesday at the Crossfire Invitational. He will need to dethrone defending meet champ Zachary Fenton of Century as well as a strong Oakdale duo in Kyle Lund and Collin Dempsey. Oakdale and Liberty figure to battle for the team title.

The girls race has plenty of star power including recent Barnhart Invitational champ Rubie Goffena of Manchester Valley as well as Bull Run Invitational small schools race champ Danielle Firlie of South Carroll. Add in defending Carroll County champ Makenzie Hopkins of Winters Mill and a handful of other girls capable of running well into the 19 minute range for 5K to make for a deep field. The Oakdale girls should be the overwhelming team favorites if racing their full varsity lineup.

Virtual meet preview for Tuesday's Crossfire Invitational at Liberty High School in Sykesville, Maryland. MileSplit.com will be on-site with race video and photo coverage!
