This was an exciting weekend for the state of Maryland! It featured a new meet (Pikesville Track Classic), a cool new event (1500m Steeple at Woodward Relays), the return of a star (Alison Smith - 2:18 800 at PTC), and many meet records (Jeremy Samuels - DeMatha 48.26 400m MRW Meet; Warren Gray, Oxon Hill 46-9.25 Triple MRW, Christy Johnson - Bryn Mawr - 4:59.86 1600m MRW) to name three.
