Meet Sanction: The Montgomery Invitational is a sanctioned meet for Maryland and bordering states: DC, DE, PA, VA

Sportsplex Entry & Meet Schedule Information: Entry to the Sportsplex will begin at 8:00 a.m., the coaches' meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the first event will begin at 9:00 a.m. All athletes and coaches must enter through the lower entrance in the back of the Sportsplex. Teams will be directed there upon arrival. A list of final entries, heats, and a tentative time schedule will be emailed to coaches. The organizers will try to keep the meet running as efficiently as possible!

Meet Admission: Admission will be charged and all spectators must enter through the upper entrance at the front of the Sportsplex. Admission will be: $5.00. All athletes must arrive with coaches or be in uniform or they will be charged admission.

Food & Drink: The PG Sportsplex has a wide variety of food and drinks available for sale and numerous concession stands will be open. However, No food or drinks may be taken out of the stands. Water will be provided for the athletes in the bullpen and in the field event area.

Facilities: The facility has ample restrooms but no locker rooms will be available

Spikes: All competition areas are "Mondo" surfaces and only " pyramid spikes are acceptable. All athletes must have their spikes checked by meet officials before competing. Spikes are not allowed to be worn in the stands for any reason. Any athletes willfully disregarding this request will be scratched from further competition.

Support: A paramedic and athletic trainer will be on site throughout the meet.

Awards:
* 3" custom presentation medals to 1st, 2nd, 3rd place finishers in all events.

* sculpted trophies will be presented to the winning teams in all relays


Entry Information: Entries to the Montgomery Invitational will be accepted from November 25, 2013 - December 20, 2013.
All entries must be submitted online. For more information see the Entry Information Page.

Payment: Printed copy of entries along with SCHOOL check for the entry fee, payable to MPSSAA District 2, must be received by January 10, 2014. NO PERSONAL CHECKS! Payments will be accepted at the meet but if at all possible, mail in advance to:

Entry Information
Entry fees are $10.00 per individual entry and $20 per relay team

Each team will be allowed up to 2 entries per individual event, provided they both meet the entry standards, except the 300m, 500m, and 1600m where each team will be limited to 1 entry, and 1 team in the 4x2, 4x4 and 4x8 relays. The top 16 entries in the DMR will be selected.

Three entries in all field events provided athletes meet entry standards.

Coaches, the money owed is an entry fee, not a participation fee. You are expected to pay for all of your entries as of the closing date of Dec. 20th, regardless of whether they participate or not! Assume all entries are accepted unless notified otherwise.

NO REFUNDS FOR SCRATCHES AFTER 12/20/13!

Coaches, please be ACCURATE and HONEST with entry times as space is limited in each event. Please do not enter athletes who have not run the "MINIMUM STANDARDS", as this is unfair to all athletes.

Entries for the Montgomery Invitational Mile and Invitational 3200m must be made by email to the meet director with verification of performance (performances from last year are acceptable)

All other entries must be submitted online through www.directathletics.com. Coaches who do not have a DirectAthletics username and password should register on that website IMMEDIATELY! Visit the Montgomery Invitational Submit Online Entries page for instructions and access to DirectAthletics.

Printed copy of entries along with a school check (no personal checks accepted!) for the entry fee, payable to MPSSAA District 2, must be received before teams can participate in the meet. Payments will be accepted at the meet but if at all possible, mail in advance to be received by January 10, 2014 to:
