Drew Hunter of Loudoun Valley HS is looking to snap Virginia's long drought over 30+ years without at Foot Locker National champion as one of the best distance runners to come out of the traditionally talent rich Northern Virginia. Last 3 Foot Locker National runners-up all came from Northern Virginia in Sean McGorty, Bobby Lockhart, and Alan Webb. Hunter will be the preseason #1 ranked runner in the country.

After starting out her freshmen year at Walt Whitman, Sami King is returning to the school after spending the last two years becoming one of the top private school runners in the DC Metro area at The Field School. She will expect to be the team's potential #1 runner and be one of the top individual contenders in 4A.
