TRACK AND FIELD INVITATIONAL

MEET OPERATION
Athletes must check-in before the event is scheduled to start. Please pay close attention to the schedule and advise your athletes to do the same to assist with staying on schedule. We will follow NFHS rules for this meet.

AWARDS/SCORING/OPERATION
There will be team scoring. There will be individual awards and overall team trophies given.
FIELD EVENTS WILL HAVE 3 (Three) ATTEMPTS ONLY (3 ENTRIES/SCHOOL/EVENT/GENDER & 1 One RELAY/SCHOOL/EVENT/GENDER) ALL FIELD EVENTS ARE FINALS BY MARK (TOP 3 FINISHERS MEDAL).

MEET CONDUCT
Field events will be run as finals against mark. All field events, except high jump, will be contested in flights with four attempts. NFHS rules will be in effect during this competition. ATHLETES MUST REMOVE ALL ELECTRONIC DEVICES BEFORE ENTERING THE CLERK TENT, OR THEY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. COACHES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE CLERK AREA OR INFIELD OR YOUR TEAM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. THERE WILL BE A DESIGNATED AREA FOR COACHES TO ASSIST THEIR ATHLETES.

PAYMENT & ENTRY INFORMATION
Entries must be submitted through MileSplit. Only a maximum of three (3) entries per school/event/gender. Only one (1) relay team/school/event/gender. Registration Deadline is January 2, 2017 at 10:00PM.

ENTRY FEES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
$150.00 (Both Boys & Girls Teams); $75 (Single Gender Teams) and $25 (Individual Athletes) All student-athletes must wear school uniforms, complying with NFHS uniform rules) Please make checks/money orders payable to: DC Public Schools Athletics (MUST BE RECEIVED IN THE MAIL BY December 31, 2015) Checks may be given at the meet if you have already sent a copy of your check via e-mail to confirm payment Contact Shontee Bryant Rasool for questions regarding payment at 202-520-3255. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED. Only checks or money orders will be accepted.

FEES/ADMISSION
Admission is free for spectators. All Coaches (must have a uniform identifying your school or ID Badge at the gate).

WARM -- UP AREAS
All warm-ups and competition prep must be conducted in designated warm-up areas around the track. COACHES, please be present with your athlete in the warm-up area when practicing events that require implements.
