2018 Jim Vollmer Invitational
Date: Saturday, April 14, 2018.
Location: Watkins Mill High School, 10301 Apple Ridge Rd, Gaithersburg, MD20879
Facility: Spectator friendly 8 lane, 400 meter fast track and jump facilities. 2 long/triple jump pits/runways. The meet will be auto-timed (F.A.T.). Trainer will be on site. We will run the 400 hurdles in preparation for Penn Relays. The Jim Vollmer 1600 winners will receive plaques. Contesting boys and girls pole vault.
Entry Deadlines: Please complete entries on MileSplit.com. A limit of 1 A and 1 B relay entry and 1 entry for the throwers 4x1 relay per gender per team. A limit of 4 entries per open events including field events. Entries are due by April 11, 2018.
Entry Fees: $250 per gender, or $300 for both boys and girls teams. Fees are due by April 9, 2018. Make check out to Watkins Mill High School.
Bus Parking: Buses, please drop teams off at the Stadium. There will be plenty of parking in front of the stadium.
Concessions: Food & Refreshments will be sold.
Awards: Medals to places 1-3 in Varsity and JV races. Plaques to first place finishers in the Vollmer 1600 run and over-all first place boys and girls team finishers will receive trophies
