The 34th Howard County Invitational at Centennial HS
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2018
Dear Coaches,
We will run two Varsity races, one female and one male. For the Fresh/Soph races you may run all 9th and 10th grade runners with the top 7 runners per team counting for team scores. All other runners are to be placed in the Open races. All runners will get times. There will be both team and individual awards.
All results will be posted on athletic.net AND md.milesplit.com. The race schedule is as follows:
8:15 am Course Walk and Coaches' Meeting
9:15 am: Girls' A
9:45 am: Boys' A
10:15 am: Girls' Fresh/Soph
11:00 am: Boys' Fresh/Soph
11:40 am: Girls' Open
12:15 pm: Boys' Open
1:15 pm: Awards
Coaches will register their teams and athletes on Athletic.net. Complete the online entry by midnight Sunday, September 2nd. The Howard County Striders will be in charge of the finish line and scoring. There will be Invitational T-Shirts on sale.
The entry fee is $175 for schools with both boys' and girls' teams, and $125 for single gender schools. We will only accept 25 teams. Once payment has been received you will be marked as accepted to the meet.
