Mount St. Mary\'s Invitational 2004

Oxford junior Laura Blaesser won the Mount Saiint Mary\'s Invitational in Emmittsburg Maryland, going 19:17 for the 5k.

While many of their Northern Region rivals competed at the Monroe Parker Invitational and other highly ranked state teams competed at various meets throughout the state, Oakton ventured north into Maryland to come away with both team titles at the Mount Saint Mary\'s Invitational. Both boys and girls\' teams solidified themselves as contenders for the AAA state team crowns with strong opening performances.
