| @Towson_TFXC Completes CAA Championships

TOWSON, Md. - Evan Campbell won the women's high jump and the the Tiger 4x400 relay team broke the Towson school as the Colonial Athletic Association Championships were completed Saturday at Unitas Stadium. Campbell and the relay record were just a few of many highlights for Towson, which finished the meet in sixth-place with 61 points.

William & Mary took home the women's team title with 154.50 points, while Delaware placed second with 141 points. UNCW and James Madison tied for third and Northeastern was fifth.

On the men's side, the Tribe won again with 185 points. UNCW placed second with 178 and Northeastern was third with 158.

The Towson 4x400 relay team placed second in the event with a time of 3:46.98. The mark was an ECAC qualifying time and broke the Tiger record of 3:48.96 set in 2010. The Towson team was comprised of Campbell, Kaitlyn Davis, Emily Wenger and Leslie Miles.

"That was a very exciting race," Towson head coach Roger Erricker said. "It was fun to get some people on the podium. Amazing things can happen and they really did today."

The event capped off a fine day for Campbell, who took the high jump title with a performance of 5' 5.25". That mark was also an ECAC qualifier.

Also on the final day, Towson's Emma Tobin set a personal record in the steeplechase and finished third in 11:08.20.

The ECAC Meet will take place on May 10-12.
