Prince George's County champ Gabrielle Glasco will tackle Fort Washington Park once again on Thursday with hopes of garnering another victory and besting her 21:39 5K performance from two weeks ago at her county championship meet.
The two runners who had looked to be the pre-race favorites going into the county meet before the Wise senior Glasco upset them will be looking to redeem themselves in the regional race in C.H. Flowers freshmen Dejah Grant and Bowie senior Felicia Haidara. Grant had a solid runner-up finish in the county meet to Glasco, but Haidara struggled finishing 10th after winning the Prince George's County Invite earlier in the season with a time 1 minute and 14 seconds faster.
