Dulaney distance runner Eric Walz was busy on Tuesday night running alongs around the indoor track at the Fifth Regiment Armory in Baltimore for his final Baltimore County Indoor Championships. Walz helped lead the Dulaney boys to a runaway team title in winning three individual titles himself sweeping the distance races starting with the 1600 in a time of 4:35 followed by a 10:12 victory in the 3200 and 2:06 first place showing in the 800.
The defending 4A state champion in the 3200 indoors as well as cross country from this past fall, Walz will have to wait till the state meet at PG next month for an opportunity to roll out some fast times on fast track as his regional meet next will also be at the Armory. Possibly go for some Armory PR's though?
