Sporting no glasses for the first time racing thanks to the addition of contacts, Richard Montgomery's Rohann Asfaw was able to clearly navigate through his competition in the 1600 and 3200 at the 4A West Regional. In both races, the almost NXN national qualifier from the fall in Asfaw, was content to stay with his challengers until he laid the hammer down in the final 400 meters to separate himself including a 4:35 performance inside the Baltimore Armory 200 meter spikeless oval for the 1600.
