VOTE: Who Was The Maryland Girls XC Runner Of The Week?

Vote below for Maryland's Week #3 Girls XC Runner of the Week from the September 17th weekend of meets. This week's batch of nominees includes Walter Johnson's Abigail Green, Patuxent's Hayley Jackson, Northern-Calvert's Molly Barrick, Churchill's Julia Reicin and Catoctin's Julien Webster.

Winston Churchill senior Julia Reicin was the top Maryland representative this past weekend at the Adidas XC Invite in Cary, North Carolina. She dropped a personal-best 18:48.00 en route to an outstanding eighth-place finish in the girls championship race.

Elsewhere in the mid-Atlantic, Walter Johnson's Abigail Green followed up her 17:54 performance last weekend with a runner-up effort in the varsity A race at the Oatlands Invitational. Right behind her was Catoctin's Julien Webster in third place.

Back in Maryland, Patuxent's Hayley Jackson clocked the fastest time of the weekend in her debut win at the Barnhart Invitational. Her final time of 18:03.91 was less than 15 seconds off the meet record of 17:49.00 and is the second-fastest time in Maryland this season behind Green. Molly Barrick led a 1-2-3 charge by the Northern-Calvert girls at the Hood College Invitational, dipping under the 19 minute mark herself for the first time.
