Vote below for Maryland's Week #10 Girls XC Runner of the Week from the November 5th week of meets. This week's batch of nominees includes Great Mills' Annie Imhof, Paint Branch's Yasmine Kass, C. Milton Wright's Haley Cummins, River Hill's Jasmine Tiamfook and Holton-Arms' Kristen Bitsberger.

Defending 3A state champion Annie Imhof has been relatively quiet this season, with her lone invitational performance being a win at the Chaptico Invitational in early October. After a third-place finish at the SMAC Championships (behind Northern's Molly Barrick) Imhof regained her form at the 3A South Regionals, winning by seven seconds and running 23 seconds faster on Watkins Mills' course than she did last season. She will have plenty of competition at this year's 3A State Championships when she tries to defend her 2015 title.

One of those competitors will be C. Milton Wright outstanding freshman Haley Cummins who won the 3A North title in 18:21 (three mile course). Cummins is the lone freshman to have cracked the 19-minute mark this season in a 5K and leads a C. Milton Wright squad whose top three runners are all freshmen. Also in the 3A fold will be River Hill junior Jasmine Tiamfook who turned in a near-repeat performance of her Howard County Championship at the 3A East Regionals.

Elsewhere in the 4A classification, Paint Branch junior Yasmine Kass showed just how much she has improved this season with a win at the 4A North Regionals. Although the race was tied with about a mile to go she was able to put 15 seconds between her and the second place runner, Dulaney's Dorrie Gaeng.

On Saturday, Holton-Arms junior Kristen Bitsberger led her team to their first ever MoCo Private School title at Covenant Life School in Gaithersburg. It was not her personal best, however - she ran 20:04 a week before at the IAC/ISL/MAC Championships.

Voting closes at 10 PM on Thursday! Voting is unlimited and feel free to share with your coaches, family, friends, teammates, teachers, and more!
