Ten Boys Who Could Have Indoor Breakouts In 2017

Kaithon McDonald (Junior, South Hagerstown)

McDonald qualified for the indoor 3A State Championships in the high jump last year with a season best of 5'10, but it wasn't until the outdoor season that he first cleared the six-foot mark at the Charas Heurich Invitational. He wound up finishing second at the 3A State Championships with a personal best of 6'2, becoming one of just two sophomores to clear the mark last spring. His 3A rivals Lars Eklund and Elijah White will be back in 2017 so he will have to jump to the next level to capture the indoor state championship.
