Jabari Bennett (Blake) Shot Put
The two-time defending 3A state champion thrower has been quiet this indoor season, but a mega-meet with a national spotlight could be the perfect setting for a breakout. It's now been close to a calendar year since Bennett transferred from Gonzaga (DC) to Blake, and during that time he has been nearly unstoppable against Maryland competition in the shot put. He will try and wrestle away the top Maryland mark from Hereford's Mike Nash this weekend.
