Could this be the year that Abigail Green gets over the hump at DCXC? George C. Marshall's Heather Holt, who has beaten Green in each of the past two seasons, has yet to race this season. Green had also not raced this season until Tuesday when she ran 18:41 in a division meet. Maryland's undisputed top returning runner from last year will get to see what she can do on the first big stage of the season on Saturday at Kenilworth Park.
