2A Boys

Editor's Picks: After an up-and-down beginning to his senior season, Poolesville's Ryan Lockett has regained last year's state-championship form. He's shown his preferred style of racing is not leading until he absolutely has to (see: last year's state meet, this year's county and regional meets). Justin Diehl, Anish Nanjappa and the rest of the field will probably hang for the first couple of miles, but nobody can outkick Lockett when he's on his game. Meanwhile Diehl and the Calvert boys are coming off a dominant performance at regionals, and it seems like it will be their race to lose on Saturday.
