SMAC Championships - Boys 1600
It was a showdown featuring two of the state's best distance runners and it went down (literally) to the final second. Just when it seemed like Calvert's Justin Diehl had the win in the bag, Northern's Charlie Sweeney gave one final attempt at the win - a headfirst dive across the finish line. When the results came out, it was official: Sweeney had grabbed the win by two hundredths of a second.
