Masai Russell After Her 100 Hurdles Debut At Dogwood!

Already the nation's fastest currently in the 300 and 400 meter hurdles, Bullis School senior Masai Russell added the 100 meter hurdles to her incredible range of events that she excels in at the Dogwood Track Classic this Saturday in Charlottesville, Virginia.

In her first time ever running the 100 meter hurdles, the University of Tennessee signee won the event with a US top 10 clocking of 13.80 (albeit slightly wind aided at +2.3) in the finals after warming up with a 13.97 performance (wind legal) in the prelims.

Russell also doubled back later to finish second in the 200 meter dash behind Mills Godwin's Britton Wilson in the 200 meter dash in a 24.41 personal best time.

Russell and the national powerhouse Bullis squad have their conference championship meet next weekend before they enter the post-season phase of the season and prep for outdoor nationals.
