2A Boys 4x200 Relay

2A State Meet Record: 1:27.90h (Frederick Douglass, 1981)
The New Town boys have made the 4x200 relay a priority this spring, and it's turned into possibly the best relay in the state. Their season best time of 1:27.62 is the fastest time in the state and a full two seconds faster than any other 2A team so far this season. After warming up in the sprint trials, Cofield, James and company will have a real shot at taking down one of the oldest state meet records on Thursday night.
