Denius (middle above) could be a key runner for a Broadneck team that has two of the top runners in the state but will need the depth to match teams like Severna Park and Howard. Denius finished in the top 50 at last year's state meet, but stood out on the track in the spring, clocking personal bests of 2:23.79 and 5:28.15 in the 800 and 1600, respectively. In a loaded county and region Denius could play an important role for the Bruins.
