After ranking our top 50 teams before the season we will post updated top 25 rankings at the beginning of every week!
The top teams in the state did little to prove us wrong over the weekend. Severna Park and River Hill were a cut above the rest at the Seahawk Invitational and look like 4A and 3A favorites, respectively. Perhaps the biggest development was Oakdale defeating Liberty (although they both won their respective divisions) at the Brunswick Invitational, as the 2A team battle could revolve around the two teams in November.
Our biggest risers were the Arundel boys. Behind senior Tanner Piotrowski the Wildcats finished fourth at the Seahawk Invitational and look like a team that could potentially challenge for a top-five spot at the state meet.
