After ranking our top 50 teams before the season we will post updated top 25 rankings at the beginning of every week!
Most of the top teams remain the same, with some minor shuffling after many of them went head-to-head at Bull Run. Dulaney moves up four after giving River Hill a battle for second in the elite boys race. Both South River (fourth in the elite race) and Broadneck (winners of the large school race) have impressed, and there are now four teams from 4A East (along with Severna Park and Arundel) in the top 11.
Three teams move into the top 25 after not being ranked last week. Centennial is finally at full strength behind junior Jacob Cole. The Wootton boys showed off some impressive pack running skills at Bull Run. And Bel Air can be a force in 3A behind Caleb Zylka. Albert Einstein and North Point make appearances in the "next five" for the first time this fall.
