The majority of this week's action came within a 24-hour period on Friday and Saturday. The Oakdale boys were the lone ranked boys team heading into the CMC Championships and took care of business behind individual winner Kyle Lund, although other shuffling in the rankings around the state meant they actually moved down one spot (but still remain in the top ten and strong 2A title contenders).
The biggest shakeups came at the Montgomery County Championships on Saturday. The Northwood boys defended their team title and the Blair boys came in blazing on their way to a second-place finish, their highest finish at the county championships in school history. Their finish moved them up seven spots in the rankings, parked right between Walter Johnson (who finished three points behind them) and Richard Montgomery (who finished fourth).
The Springbrook boys are the other busy movers from this past week, having finished eighth at the Montgomery County Championships and cracking the top 25 for the first time all season.
