Maryland Girls Track Athlete of the Decade: Bobb or McNeil?

Photos by John Roemer (left) and Steven Pisano

Over the past month and a half, you have helped us narrow down an initial batch of 32 girls to two finalists in an attempt to crown Maryland's top track and field athlete of the decade. Our two finalists, Franklin's Nyjari McNeil and Harford Tech's Caitlyn Bobb, each hold state meet records and not only won multiple individual state titles, but helped their teams win state titles as well.

McNeil's resume is littered with big wins and success on the national level, as well as playing a huge part in one of the best 4x400 relays Maryland has ever seen. Bobb has been one of Maryland's most dominant sprinters over the past two years and still has (hopefully) one more full year to truly ascend to the top of the all-time state leaderboards. You can cast your vote for the girls track and field athlete of the decade up through 11:59 PM on Friday, September 11!
