This morning at Idaho State University, Park School's Elan Hilaire took second place in the 400 meters of the highly competitive Simplot Games. Hilaire finished second to Nicole Leach of Pennsylvania with a time of 54.06. Leach was able to edge out the Maryland freshman by only .02 of a second.
Hilaire's Zzzy Track Club also competed in two relay events. The team finished first in today's Sprint Medley Relay finals in 4:06.64 and fifth in today's just completed 4x200 finals with a time of 1:42.25.
