F.I.T. Highlights:
National leading time of 6:35 in the 55m dash by Ronald Darby of Potomac! He was followed by a pair of 6:52s by teammates Fonyi Agendia and Joquan Perry of DuVall. DuVall also has the national leader in the 500 in Edose Ibadin!
Another national leader was the boys 4x2 from Suitland. They had a blazin' time of 1:30.18! Smokin' fast! They were followed not far behind by Eleanoor Roosevelt with a not too shabby 1:32.88.
The girls weren't outdone with some awesome performances themselves!
The Dunbar girls laid down a 1:45.35 4x2 which puts them 5th in the nation! Shelby Frink of Woodlawn tossed the shot put 39' 2" ranking her 7th in the country!
The rest of the outstanding performances belonged to the ladies of Bishop McNamara. They included Paulette Fogle's 500m dash in 1:17.55 and Alexis Stroman's 55h in 8:33, which are 4th and 6th best in the U.S. They were joined by the amazing sophomore Breilyn Rogers who bounced out to a state #3 and national #7 37 10.5 triple jump!
