Maryland's underclassmen had another productive week, with a handful of freshmen and sophomores posting marks that deserve attention as we leave April in the rearview and shift our attention to the upcoming postseason.
Here's a look at four of the many underclassmen who stood out last week.

Buchanan led all underclassmen in the 400m, running 56.03 at the Emerging Elite & Gator Invitational last week, before following it up with a 44.17 in the 300mH at the same meet. The sophomore is rapidly shaping up to be a lethal quarter-miler and is only going to get faster over the hurdles.
A 4:19.65 in the 1600m at the Mountain Bash last week leads all underclassmen across the state, and was the second fastest time regardless of class. Rementelas is now the 13th-fastest sophomore in state history and just the 15th to ever run sub-4:20.
Coles led all underclassmen in the 100mH at 16.02 at the Emerging Elite & Gator Invitational last week and followed it with a 47.04 in the 300mH later that day. She currently sits No. 5 among the state's sophomores in the 100mH and No. 4 in the 300mH.

Price posted a 20-9.50 in the long jump and a 22.78 in the 200m at the Mountain Bash last week. As a freshman competing against upperclassmen and ranking near the top of both events in the state, he's one of the more complete underclassmen performers in Maryland right now.
