Tyrik Hall (Northwest, Germantown) ran 2:02.10 in the 800 meters at the 40th Katie Jenkins Invitational on May 2, placing third in a field of 24. The senior improved from his previous best of 2:16.70 set in April 2024 and ranks 117th in Maryland and 63rd among state seniors.
Cora Morrison (Arundel, Gambrills) won the 3200 meters in 11:22.21 at the Golliday Invitational on April 30. The junior dropped from her previous personal record of 12:32.10 set in January 2025 and ranks 16th in Maryland and sixth among state juniors.
Shanthi Nzelibe (Catonsville) clocked 5:30.72 in the 1600 meters at Maverick Madness 8 on May 1, finishing fifth of 28 runners. The junior improved from 5:49.34 and ranks 75th in Maryland and 29th among state juniors.
Claude Nicholas (DeMatha Catholic, Hyattsville) ran 11.21 in the 100 meters at the WCAC Junior Varsity Meet of Champions on April 30, placing second in a field of 56. The sophomore improved from 11.98 and ranks 128th in Maryland and ninth among state sophomores.
Emmett Hayes (Leonardtown) ran 10:14.90 in the 3200 meters at a tri-meet against Patuxent and La Plata on April 28, placing third of 12. The sophomore improved from 10:55.37 and ranks 115th in Maryland and 24th among state sophomores.
Brielle Morales (Clear Spring) ran 16.07 in the 100-meter hurdles at the Small School CMC Championship on April 30, placing second of 18 and setting a school record. She improved from 16.81 and ranks 62nd in Maryland. Morales also set a personal record in the long jump with 14-0, improving from 13-11.
