Maryland's regional championships dominated the schedule last week, with athletes across every classification putting up some of the season's best marks.
Here's a look at five girls and five boys who stood out.

Top Performers:
Caroline Philp (North Hagerstown, 2029):
At the MPSSAA 3A West Region Championships, Philp ran 5:00.57 in the 1600m and 10:55.24 in the 3200m, the second-fastest marks among all girls in Maryland last week in both events.
Jalen Stubbs (DeMatha Catholic, 2027):
The fastest 100m among all boys in Maryland last week belonged to Stubbs, who ran 10.66 at the WCAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships and backed it with a 21.72 in the 200m at the same meet.
Davina Fotzeu (Howard, 2028):
Fotzeu ran 12.00 in the 100m and 24.92 in the 200m at the MPSSAA 3A South Region Championships, posting the fastest 100m among all girls at that meet and adding one of the strongest 200m marks among all underclassmen in the state a week ago.
Terrence Dorsey (Bishop McNamara, 2028):
At the WCAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Dorsey ran 48.21 in the 400m and 22.06 in the 200m, the second-fastest 400m among all underclassmen boys in Maryland last week.
Jenell Quansah (Linganore, 2029):
Quansah clocked 12.10 in the 100m at the MPSSAA 3A West Region Championships, then added a 36-6 in the triple jump at the same meet.
Etornam Agbonyitor (Springbrook, 2026):
At the MPSSAA 4A South Region Championship, Agbonyitor led all boys in the 400m at 49.00 and the triple jump at 45-11.5.
Jayla Washington (Bishop McNamara, 2028):
Washington led all girls at the WCAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the triple jump at 36-10.5, one of the top horizontal jump marks posted by any girl in the state last week.
Brandon Rosario (Linganore, 2027):
The fastest 110mH mark among all boys in Maryland last week belonged to Rosario, who ran 14.10 at the MPSSAA 3A West Region Championships and added a 39.63 in the 300mH at the same meet.
Kayla Butler (Linganore, 2029):
Butler led all girls at the MPSSAA 3A West Region Championships in both the shot put (35-7.25) and the discus (126-10), the top discus throw in the state last week.
Gage Stefanick (Rising Sun, 2028):
At the MPSSAA 2A and 1A East Region Championships, Stefanick led all boys in the 3200m at 9:36.89 and added a 4:22.28 in the 1600m earlier in the week at the UCBAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, one of the strongest distance doubles posted by any boy in Maryland.
