NEWVILLE, PA - Despite running in snow, the Johns Hopkins women's cross country team captured the Centennial Conference crown for the fourth-straight year behind sophomore Holly Clarke's third place finish, Saturday morning.

The Blue Jays finished with a team score of 43 points, just nine points ahead of Haverford (52 points) and 26 ahead of host, Dickinson (69).

Hopkins placed three runners in the top-ten including Clarke's third place time. Clarke finished the race at 23:49.7. The freshmen duo of Hannah Eckstein and Ashley Murphycame in at eighth and ninth, respectively within one second of each other with times of 24:45 and 24:46.

Sophomore Lillian Murphy finished 15th with a time of 25:10 while freshman Lindsey Sanborn rounded out the scoring runners for Hopkins in 19th coming in with a time of 25:32.

The Blue Jays return to action on November 12 at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships in Center Valley, PA.
