Georgetown Prep Cross-Country Classic

Dear Coach,

You are hereby invited to the 42nd annual Prep Classic, sponsored by the Millrose Athletic Association, Pacers and New Balance.

Date: Saturday, October 17, 2015

Location: Georgetown Prep, North Bethesda, Maryland.

Course: 5K on the Prep Campus. More than 90% of the course is grass; spikes are recommended.

Sanction: NFHS for USA

Awards: In varsity races, pewter cups will be awarded to the top 10 finishers; medals will be awarded to the next 15 finishers. In freshman and junior varsity races, medals will be awarded to the top 25 finishers. In all races, plaques will be awarded to the top 3 teams.

2:30 p.m. Seeded Varsity Boys
3:00 p.m. Seeded Varsity Girls
3:30 p.m. Unseeded Varsity Boys
4:00 p.m. Unseeded Varsity Girls
4:30 p.m. Division I JV Boys (Pick One)
5:00 p.m. Division II JV Boys (Randomly Assigned)
5:30 p.m. JV Girls

Please Note:
1) Teams are limited to 7 runners in each varsity race, and to 10 runners in each JV and freshman race. Teams with fewer than 5 finishers will be withdrawn from team scoring. Teams with more than 7 (or 10) finishers will have all runners disqualified.
2) You may only enter one team for each of the races: varsity boys/girls, junior varsity boys/girls and freshman boys/girls.
3) You may not enter a team in a junior varsity race unless you have entered a team in the corresponding varsity race.
4) Please indicate your decision to run seeded/unseeded on your email to me.
5) Teams will be randomly assigned to either Division I or Division II for boys' JV races.

Entry Fee: $125 per single-sex team; $200 per coed team. You may enter a full complement of races (Varsity, JV, and Freshman races) for this single entry fee.

Parking: After discharging athletes, team buses will be directed to off campus parking.

Deadline: All entry materials must be received by Midnight. on Sun, Oct 11th, 2015.

To Enter: 1) Your check must precede the meet. Please request your check early. We dont want to collect money at the meet.
2) Rosters must be completed on www.athletics.net in order to be entered.
2) Email gregdunston@yahoo.com after you have completed your entry to confirm. List the races that you have chosen and your schools name. Ill let you know if your check has been received at that time.
