Baltimore County Championships 2016

Week in review from the past week's meets and coverage in Maryland. Several major meets were cancelled or rescheduled due to the weekend snowstorm, but Baltimore County, Montgomery County, and Frederick County all were able to get their championship meets in before the storm. 

Watch Franklin sophomore Nyjari McNeil record one of the more impressive performances that you will see at the 5th Regiment Armory in Baltimore with a 1:18.15 performance in the 500 at the Baltimore County Championships. 

While we are in the midst of our county championship meet coverage with a handful of meets this past week and another handful this coming week, we want to know you think has the best county championship meet in the state of Maryland?

Dulaney distance runner Eric Walz was busy on Tuesday night running alongs around the indoor track at the Fifth Regiment Armory in Baltimore for his final Baltimore County Indoor Championships. Walz helped lead the Dulaney boys to a runaway team title in winning three individual titles himself.

The Hereford girls won their 10 straight Baltimore County indoor team title, while the Dulaney boys also maintained their dominance as well in the county. Complete results from the 2016 Baltimore County Championships.
