The 32nd Howard County Invitational at Centennial HS
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2016
Dear Coaches,
As you get your 2016 Cross Country season off and running, we sincerely hope you will have the opportunity to join us on Saturday, September 10, 2016 for the Howard County Invitational at Centennial High School.
We will run two Varsity races, one female and one male. Place your top 7 runners in these races. For the B race you may run up to 12 runners with the top 7 runners per team counting for team scores. All other runners are to be placed in the C race. All runners will get times. There will be both team and individual awards.
All results will be posted on www.countysportszone.com, www.athletic.net, and www.md.milesplit.com. The race schedule is as follows:
9:00 am Course Walk and Coaches Meeting
10:00 am: Girls A
10:30 am: Boys A
11:05 am: Girls B
11:35 am: Boys B
12:10 pm: Girls C (if necessary)
12:45 pm: Boys C
1:30 pm: Awards
Coaches will register their teams and athletes on Athletic.Net. Complete the online entry by midnight Saturday, September 3rd. Any changes to rosters should be sent to Jim Disciullo (disciulloj@verizon.net) by 6:00 pm on Wednesday, Sept. 7th. The Howard County Striders will be in charge of the finish line and scoring. There will be Invitational T-Shirts on sale.
The entry fee is $150 for schools with both boys and girls teams, and $100 for single gender schools.
